Chủ đề tiền bạc — giá cả, chi phí, doanh số, khuyến mãi — chiếm tỉ trọng lớn trong cả Part 5, 6 lẫn các đoạn hội thoại/email TOEIC. Đây là những cụm từ tài chính bạn sẽ gặp đi gặp lại.

Lưu ý phân biệt: expense (khoản chi cụ thể) khác cost (chi phí nói chung) và charge (phí dịch vụ). TOEIC rất thích đưa cả ba vào cùng một câu để bẫy.
